Our philosophy
Our primary role as your birth companion is to nurture and hold the sacred space to allow for the birth of your child to take place in the realm of the undisturbed. We trust your instinctive knowledge of what is going on with your body and with the child that you carry. We will act as your advocate while working with those close to you to do the same. We respect, without judgement, the family unit and work towards strengthening and empowering you.
Although we do not provide clinical care or diagnosis we will be there to support you, to the best of our abilities, in navigating the medical system around parental and child care.
We believe in empowering and nurturing individuals and their families to become self-directed. We love coaching partners and witnessing the sacred vitality of life as it takes shape. It continues to be an honour to visit families in their homes.
